A repository for a creative life. One of the things I do is change.

My productive life has crisscrossed the arts and sciences. I worked as lead engineer on a continous casting project at about the same time I made this sculptural fountain, Focus in the 70's. My curriculum vitae describes creative work in mechanical, metallurgical, and computer engineering by responsibilities interspersed with two periods devoted to art, one that included teaching.  I describe this public offering as a repository for a creative life. Because, in two senses of the definition of the word, "one that contains or stores something nonmaterial" and "a place or region richly supplied with a natural resource" (source: Merriam-Webster), from these impressions of past work, I wish to demonstrate a willingness to learn and to change. The photographs show the artwork and the writings send the message of my eclectic, maybe hectic careers and of this life. I  offer short stories, essays and 'thoughts that have occurred' for abstract thinkers. I post this website to attract opportunities; thanking you in advance for your interest!
