I beg the viewer to look at iconograffiti as hanging on a wall, an act of vandalism,
but this time not against the owner of the wall but vandalizing the icon. Each painting
incorporates a religious or proto-religious icon with a piece of fruit and a human
being. The fruit symbolizes the fruit of our loins, the fruits of our labor, the
essence of what is good. The human figure exposes the hope of good things to come,
even beyond, and that life is good. Why bring someone into this world if religious
icons suggest otherwise? Our creator, from whatever our beliefs, gives us a life
to lead and we choose which path to follow along with or ahead of, but, good, to
others.
